We did it!!! Our first-ever Jamboree was a huge success and the pavilion at Wilcox Park, overlooking a lake, was beautiful. This was definitely the beginning of a long tradition to come.
Thanks to everyone who came early to help set up the festivities—Peter Conklin, Eric Marshall, Grace Burns, Chris Klabes, Carol Dwyer and Tobey Sanford, Craig Marshall, Bruno Bruzzese, and Chris Scheu. Thanks to all who entertained us with the music and to those who enjoyed the music.
Thanks to Jody Lipton for the decorations and for pushing us to get the colorful neckerchiefs. And special thanks to Sharon Alexander, our artist-in-residence, for stamping each and every neckerchief with instruments, musical notes, and a gorgeous woodcut stamp of the HVBA logo letters.
