We couldn’t be more excited to have the Gibson Brothers back to the HVBA tomorrow, Saturday 22nd! Eric and Leigh have been making bluegrass together for more than three decades. Their discography reflects their deep musical connection, with harmonies that—in this playlist jockey’s humble opinion—are still unbeatable in bluegrass today. This list features some of the Brothers’ best performances, including a spirited cover of Merle Haggard’s “Kentucky Gambler,” a ripping’ version of the classic Earl Scruggs tune “Shuckin’ the Corn,” as well as some of their best original songs like “Callie’s Reel” and “Frozen in Time.” Enjoy this playlist of the best of the Gibson Brothers—and come see them live tomorrow night. I’ll see you there!
