Special Consensus graces the HVBA’s stage on Friday, March 10 @ 7:30pm. We couldn’t be more excited to have one of modern bluegrass’s most storied groups pay us a visit—and when I say storied, I mean it. Special C has been at it for more than 45 years, with a deep and impressive cast of characters on its roster over the years. Special Consensus’s sound has always been anchored by the banjo stylings and baritone vocals of living legend Greg Cahill, and while the group’s lineup is ever-changing, its commitment to hard-hitting and mature bluegrass music has never wavered. Enjoy this playlist featuring Special Consensus’s long discography—and come see them live at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Poughkeepsie!
