HVBA Sponsors Emerging Artists’ Stage

The Hudson Valley Bluegrass Association is absolutely thrilled to announce that we will have an official presence at the storied Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival in Oak Hill, NY this summer. We’re especially proud to be sponsoring the Emerging Artists’ Stage at the festival, which showcases young and up-and-coming bluegrass artists in alignment with our mission of supporting bluegrass in the Hudson Valley. We’ll also be hosting a tent with HVBA info on the main vendor drag to help spread the word about our work from Thursday to Sunday. Come and hang out with us—and bring your instruments, there will be jamming aplenty!

Grey Fox, the premier bluegrass festival in the Northeast, returns to the Walsh Farm, in Oak Hill, NY on July 17-21, 2024. Headlining this year’s Grey Fox are Del McCoury, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Yonder Mountain String Band, The SteelDrivers, Sister Sadie, The Gibson Brothers, Hawktail, and Tony Trischka’s Earljam – A Tribute to Earl Scruggs. Besides the best of traditional, contemporary, and progressive bluegrass, Grey Fox is known for its highly eclectic and diverse lineup. This year fans will enjoy artists from Ireland, Quebec, and Korea; dance bands from Louisiana and Texas; acoustic blues, and much more. With six stages (most of them under shade tents), dozens of workshops, emerging artist showcases, songwriting class, learn-to-jam sessions for beginning pickers, a Family Stage and a kids bluegrass academy, Grey Fox has something for everyone and all ages. Come for the day or the whole weekend. Ticket alert: Prices increase July 1st.
