I don’t know if it’s just me, but I absolutely love when bluegrass artists cover songs that are outside of the bluegrass pantheon. There’s such an incredible sense of fun when you hear a banjo playing the Beatles, a fiddle playing Fleetwood Mac, or a mandolin playing Metallica. On this playlist, we get to hear some absolute bangers from bluegrass’s best. Ever wonder what a Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen cover of the Box Tops would sound like? How about an Alison Brown cover of Simon and Garfunkel, or a Gibson Brothers cover of The Band? Find out in this playlist of great bluegrass covers!
