“Bob Dylan has a songwriting footprint that has extended across half a century and more than its fair share of musical genres—including bluegrass! Covers of Dylan’s most popular songs have come out of the bluegrass genre since the days of its founders’ heyday, including Flatt & Scruggs who perform “Like a Rolling Stone” on this playlist. Tim O’Brien even boasts a full album of Bob Dylan covers: the cleverly named Red on Blonde. Enjoy covers from those artists and more—including Tony Rice, Dierks Bentley, Sarah Jarosz—on this week’s playlist!”
