Lippincott Bluegrass Festival, Wallkill, NY E-mail

My wife, Victoria, and I attended the Lippincott Bluegrass Festival last weekend at Wallkill, New York and found it to be a delightful outing. It was set on a large, level, flat field, with lots of room for parking and festival events. There were several vendors and the bands were excellent including the renowned Gibson Brothers, whose performance was outstanding. This was the first annual attempt at a local bluegrass festival by the property owner.

In order to have this event again next year, it is necessary for the HVBA to support and ATTEND this festival. As I looked around for HVBA members at the festival, they were few and far between. I was very surprised at this, as the festival was very well announced in advance by HVBA emails.

I hope we can better support this event next year in hopes of another one.
